We raise our hands in gratitude to Lise Gillies for her artistic brilliance and for bringing these stories and our pathway to life visually.

Strengthening the work, together

Our 2026–2029 Strategic Pathway offers shared direction for LPC’s next chapter. It reflects the relationships, teachings, and community responsibilities that guide us, and our commitment to growing with care and intention.

Honouring our presence on Katzie Territory, the pathway carries the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ name k̓ʷám̓ k̓ʷəm̓ stəxʷ kʷθə syá·ys [to strengthen the work]. As our team, relationships, and reach grow, so do our responsibilities: to care for the people carrying the work, deepen our relationships with communities, and remain accountable to the mission and values that bring us together.

Created through team gathering and reflection, the pathway brings together three strategic stories.

Grounded in Two-Eyed Seeing, the pathway draws on the teaching of Mi’kmaq Elder Albert Marshall to bring Indigenous and Western ways of knowing together. Storytelling and relationship guide our direction, while practical actions and evaluation help us account for our commitments.

Each spring, we will return to these stories to reflect on what we have learned, how our people and relationships are doing, and what needs to change. Through our annual reports and other updates, we will share how we are bringing the pathway to life.
