About the Course
This workshop explores how Indigenous Cultural Safety and decolonization principles can be woven into the practices of project management. From governance structures to meeting facilitation, project management is often guided by colonial standards of leadership, productivity, and engagement. In response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action, BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (DRIPA), and numerous other guiding frameworks, this session supports participants in reflecting on how they show up in their roles and how to foster culturally safer, more relational, and decolonial approaches to managing projects and leading teams.
